St. Bride’s Church to host a daring night of music with Astles, Bill Nickson & more.

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of St. Bride’s Church for a daring night of music from some of the city’s most prodigious young songwriters.

Headliner, Astles — who has been praised for his dynamic vocal style, captivating melodies and artistic boldness — will be performing some of his latest material in the fitting setting of the almost 200-year-old church, which has recently played host to folk legend Michael Chapman. Astles will accompanied by the Balloon Moon Orchestra for this special performance, a string quartet fronted by cellist Matthew Phillips.

The lushness of sound and setting will be the perfect way to experience the deeply affecting world of Astles. A unique mix of music, art and storytelling, brought to life by a set of young, ambitious artists. Supporting, Bill Nickson has been crafting heartfelt songs tackling love, loss and morality, all written, recorded and produced from his bedroom. Abby Meysenburg’s simple yet beautiful words provide a look straight into her brain, allowing listeners to feel as though they are right alongside her.

Limited Advance tickets are available for just £6; any remaining tickets will be available on the door (£8).

Beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
