The Middle east meets Bold Street – Kassap Meat House

Liverpool’s trendy Bold Street adds Kassap Meat House to it’s ever growing restaurant repertoire, and Urbanista Magazine went along to sample their wares and just generally get in the thick of it.

We rocked up on a Friday night and received a very warm welcome from the Kassap team. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and just a visit is an experience in itself, staff are eager to please and it was clear from the first moment that customer experience and service are of top priority.

Kassap prides itself on its specialty cuts of meat that are dried for at least 28 days, which ensures the juiciest quality steaks. The restaurant serves up mouthwatering meats, burgers and meat dishes, but also vegetarian options and a tapas menu for a light bite.

Cheesy meat balls and beef roll started our meat journey, with a Turkish red wine to wash it all down, hand picked by our waiter.

We were invited into the kitchen to meet chef Yuce, which was an impressive experience! We went with chef’s recommendation and opted for the tomahawk. It did not disappoint. Chef Yuce cooked the steak in front of us and served it rare. Mouth wateringly delicious and easily the best steak I have tasted for some time.

Even though we barely had any room left after our 2 courses, for dessert we opted for a turkish delight, Baklava, it was so rich and sweet and delicious, definitely recommended for you to try!

Kassap Meat House offers a truly fine dining experience, with quality food and drink and service absolutely on point. They also have a private dining area upstairs that seats up to 75 people.
