    BIO

Flava J is a multipotentialite/multi-hyphenate, BPoC Non-binary Artist with a strong interest for the forever evolving world of entrepreneurship and entertainment. Professionally trained dancer, singer, songwriter and actor, Flava J is a tenor that easily switches the whole mood being a multipotentiality/multi-hyphenated even on his songs, where they flip from soulful phrases to a high calibre rap with an unreal flow and switching languages real quick, becoming a multi Artist on their own.
Born in the great Portugal and moved to UK in 2011. Angola, Cape Verde and Sao Tome e Principe cultures and rhythms played a big part in the creative process that you see today, as well as the music which they have grown up with.
We got a glimpse of “Emotional Perhaps” (6 song album), at Scotland Colour Festival, in association with Intercultural Youth Scotland, where the infusion of rhythms shown up and we felt all them spicy flavours coming through (EP now available to pre-save at www.flavaj.com/music)
