London – for many, 2020 has been about change. The COVID-19 crisis has changed the lives of just about everyone one on the planet and, while many of those changes have been drastic, the world is still the same place it was just a few short months ago. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and art is still a big part of our lives.

With those many changes we have seen this year, there is one that is especially important to art aficionados here in the UK. Contemporary Art Fairs, the contemporary art collector’s resource for gallery and artist news, information, and updates is changing hands.

Previous owners Sarah and Deborah had this to say in a recent press release, “After 17 years running the fairs we are delighted that we can hand the company over to such a safe pair of hands. Loxley have an ethos we feel is remarkably similar to our own and like us their business is about supporting artists. We are confident that they will take Contemporary Art Fairs on to bigger things”.

With the belief that any enterprise should add value to the world, the duo originally created Contemporary Art Fairs to do just that. They also believe in giving back and helping those who need it most which can be seen in the fact that their visionary and participatory events have supported the Prince’s Trust – raising more than £80,000.

Contemporary Art Fairs’ new owner, Matt, stated, ‘Our mission at Loxley, is to help artists fulfill and live their dream, which is partly why we got involved with helping in the fairs originally. Through Contemporary Art Fairs, with Joanne as Fair Director, we can make our vision a reality and bring today’s art to collectors around the world while showcasing some of the art community’s most talented up and coming artists.’

The Contemporary Art Fairs’ website, which can be found at: https://contemporaryartfairs.co.uk/ offers a complete listing of upcoming art fairs, an artists’ page, exhibitor information, workshops and activities, and much more. You will even find a page dedicated to the needs of today’s art collectors.

Contemporary Art Fairs website and all Contemporary Art Fairs products are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Contemporary Art Fairs in the UK.
