Architectural Designer Tiana Plotnikova is changing the landscape of architecture and urban design. Having led multiple masterplan developments and design projects, she realized that there are many inefficiencies in the process and created a product that is changing the industry as a whole.
As a lead designer of major front end urban developments in China, Tiana Plotnikova had to keep a track of complex data and spatial relationships between the functions. “When it comes to the design of an urban complex, handling data can become pretty challenging. There are thousands of spacial relationships that need to be designed” – says Tiana.
To eliminate inefficiencies in the design process, Plotnikova decided to address the pain-point holistically and created a tool that helps to convert complex Excel data to 2D and 3D.
The designer believes that data is crucial to any design project as it can help to inform the designer about their decisions early on in the process and provide a reliable tool to keep a track of all incoming data. Tiana’s product had already received endorsement from key players in the industry and was backed by representatives from the urban city department in Ukraine.
