    37 School Lane, Liverpool –

Present Company Bar opened in spring 2019 and was the first venue for industry aficionados, Simon Thompson and Jake O’Brien Murphy. After working in some of the best bars in the country, the pair united to create a venue that centered around world class drinks, top class service and the best music you’ll hear around town. The venue is open Monday-Sunday with weekly events from the likes of Anti-Social Jazz Club and Protect Ya Neck.

Drinks, melodies, revelry and now food. Present Company Bar have added a new small plates and bar snacks menu to go alongside their unique cocktail menu. A small offering of six food options, all made to order in house, will be available Monday-Thursday from 5pm and Friday-Sunday from 1pm.

A mix of bar snacks and hearty small plates, the star of the show is the salt & pepper crumpet. A new take on Liverpool’s favourite takeaway. The menu also includes burrata with flat bread, sun dried tomatoes and basil oil, hummus with chilli flakes, pomegranate seeds, olive oil and flat bread as well as cheese crumpet, complete with brown butter, pickled mustard seeds and crème de brie. Fresh olives and Bombay mix complete the bar snacks.

This carefully curated offering is the first taste of what’s to come for Present Company, with the space being extended to include an upstairs events space in the new year, you can guarantee a kitchen will be making an appearance as the bar continues to grow.
