“Inks Lake are a post-punk band from Austin, TX with former members from Nice Strong Arm, Swans, and Beth Israel.
The group’s music blurs energetic, cathartic sounds and angular aesthetics with memorable melodies. Due to their raw approach, Inks Lake have drawn a local following in Austin and plan on heading for East Coast dates later in the year. Channeling the immediacy of artists like Hüsker Dü and The Replacements, listeners will also appreciate the group’s unique production style and creative guitar interplay.
